Currently, they are looking to attract a like-minded and highly experience Senior Care Professional, looking to undertake duties related to the daily delivery of personal care and support to the people who use our services in a person centred and holistic manner, in accordance with agreed programmes of care under the guidance of senior staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

➢ Provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to care for residents within the unit, meeting identified physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
➢ Accountable for standards of care and deliver these within the context of company policies and procedures and SSSC code of conduct.
➢ Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.
➢ Promoting self-care, enabling people with long term conditions to live as independently as possible in their communities by ensuring that appropriate services and support are available to the resident and their family.
➢ Facilitate guidance, mentorship of more junior staff within the care home. Developing and maintaining the ethos of the learning organisation.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills & experience:

➢ Evidence of Continuous Professional Development and Registration / willingness to register with SSSC
➢ Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
➢ Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
➢ Time management skills
