Receptionist

Based within a Residential Care Home, the Receptionist is part of the overall care team and will have contact on a daily basis with our residents, their relatives and friends. The ideal candidate will posses excellent communication skills. Experienced and reliable, whilst being fully competent in all aspects of general reception/ front of house work and comfortable in dealing with people from all backgrounds.

Either 32 hour week (9.30am to 4.30pm) Monday to Friday or 37.5 hour week (9:00am to 5:00pm) Monday to Friday.

Key tasks:- 

* Answering and diverting phonecalls
* Filing, Typing, photcopying, collecting and posting mail
* Liaising with Head Office
* Sorting of paperwork ready for filing
* Issuing and reconciling petty cash
* Basic updating of spreadsheets (eg recording annual leave, sickness etc)
* Confidentiality essential
* Generally helpful andpersonable
* May be asked to attend other homes from time to time for cover
* Reporting to the administrator in the home
